Demonstrate your pride in your graduates! Participate in Commencement by marching in one or more ceremonies and plan to celebrate with your graduates and their families at the receptions.
Bachelor's candidates participate by school (listed below). Faculty march in the ceremony of their school. Graduate faculty also march in the Graduate School Ceremony. All are welcome to march in additional ceremonies. Professional staff choose their ceremonies as best fit their relationships with their students. Note new undergraduate ceremony/academic school times.
See Marcher Regalia. Order rentals by Friday, March 25, for standard shipping charges and guaranteed hood colors.
Place rental orders directly through the bookstore by Friday, April 8, for standard shipping charges and guaranteed hood colors.
Late rental orders must be placed through the bookstore by Friday, April 22, with rush shipping charges; hood colors are not guaranteed.

Marchers who rent regalia for Honors Convocation on April 22, 2022, may use it for commencement also and return regalia to the bookstore by Monday, May 23.
A limited inventory of doctor and master's gowns, master's and doctor hoods, and caps are available for loan through the Academic Affairs Office. Hoods will not match the marcher's discipline or institution where degree earned. For guaranteed colors, marchers should purchase or rent hoods through the bookstore. Sizes and hood colors are limited, and requests are filled in the order they are received.
Email email@example.com by May 9, 2022, to arrange for regalia loan for commencement. Include your ceremony time(s), highest degree earned, and indicate small, medium, large, extra large.
Faculty and staff academic regalia purchases can be placed through the bookstore at any time during the year. Purchase prices vary. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (716) 878-5509, and please plan on 10 or more weeks for delivery.
Faculty, staff, and advisers to academic and service programs, honor societies, and scholarship programs who distribute honors cords and other honors accessories and also advise students in the proper wearing of regalia and accessories at commencement, please review the Policy on Commencement Honors Cords and Accessories.
The Robing Room is located in the Ice Arena upper lobby. Enter the Ice Arena entrance ground floor via the east end of the building and report to the second floor. For barrier-free access, enter the building through the "Graduates Entrance" and take the elevator to second floor.
Please SIGN IN at the table outside the Robing Room for EACH ceremony in which you march.
After signing in, proceed to your place in the lineup, indicated by a chair with your name on it. Put on your academic garb and hang any jackets, etc. on the coat racks provided. The faculty marshal will provide marching instructions. The processional will leave the robing room 10 minutes before the ceremony is to begin. A program will be on your chair in the Sports Arena where the ceremony takes place.
Please use the garment racks. Do not leave any valuables in the Robing Room. Do not leave belongings or items, including garment bags, on or near your chair in the lineup.
When you return from either the 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. ceremony, the new lineup for the next ceremony will be in place in Ice Arena upper lobby. Therefore, if you are marching again, you may have a new place in the lineup. EVERYONE, please sign in again at the registration table so staff know you are accounted for.
Light hospitality will be available throughout the day for your convenience.
