Building capacity is based on individuals. All guests entering the Sports Arena including babies and children must present a guest ticket, even if they will sit on adult laps. Please consider making alternate arrangements for youngsters, as they typically are unable to sit through the two-hour ceremony, especially after waiting for up to an hour in the stands prior to the start (doors open one hour before ceremony time).
Following the close of bachelor's ticket distribution, students may still register to participate in the ceremony of their academic school, though guest tickets are not distributed.
See Bachelor's Viewing Options for guests without tickets, including live stream viewing.
Beginning April TBA, Graduate School candidates may register for tickets and purchase regalia and graduation accessories in the bookstore. Bring your Bengal ID card to swipe. Graduate School cermeony ticket distribution closes on Friday, May 15.
Buffalo State makes every effort to include all degree candidates' names in the Commencement program. Those who apply for their degrees after the deadlines are not guaranteed listing in the program though we sure will give it the old college try.
See Late Applicants for directions on registering for your ceremony if you did not receive the Commencement information letter at your permanent address during spring break 2020.
