Demonstrate your pride in your graduates! Participate in Commencement by marching in one or more ceremonies and plan to celebrate with your graduates and their families at the receptions.
Bachelor's candidates particpate by school (listed below). Faculty are asked to march in the ceremony of their school. Graduate faculty are asked to also march in the Master's/C.A.S. ceremony. All are welcome to march in additional ceremonies. Professional staff choose their ceremonies as best fit their relationships with their students.

Faculty and staff who receive personalized invitations from students to participate in their ceremonies, please complete and return your invitations to "Commencement" in CLEV 519 AND register online. A running list of marchers will be updated periodically, with a final posting after Commencement with special notation of marchers who received student invitations AND marched.

The deadline to order 2018 regalia for Commencement with guaranteed hood colors and standard charges is April 20 for guaranteed hood colors and regular shipping. Contact the bookstore to place rental orders and for pickup.
Regarding Honors Convocation on April 18: If you rent regalia for the Honors Convocation, orders will be due in March 13. You may wear it also for Commencement and return it on Monday, May 21. See Honors Convocation.
Each unit includes cap, gown, hood, and tassel. Tax included.

There are a limited number of gowns available for loan through the Academic Affairs Office. Marchers must supply their own hoods (owned or rented). Please use the form below to request reglia loan.
Online regalia request is open through May 14. Contact Academic Affairs with any regalia loan questions.
Faculty and staff academic regalia purchases can be placed through the bookstore at any time during the year. Purchase prices vary. Call Marybeth Keller at (716) 878-5509, and please plan on 10 weeks for delivery. February 16 is the deadline for purchases in time for Commencement 2018.
Faculty, staff, and advisers to academic and service programs, honor societies, and scholarship programs should plan for the distribution of honors cords and other honors regalia and also advise students in the proper wearing of regalia accessories at Commencement according to the Policy on Commencement Honors Cords and Accessories.
The Robing Room is located in the Ice Arena upper lobby. See sports complex layout noting faculty/staff robing room entrance. Enter the Ice Arena entrance ground floor via the east end of the building and report to the second floor. For barrier-free access, enter the building through the "Graduates Entrance" and take the elevator to second floor.
► For the 9 a.m. ceremony, report no later than 8:30 a.m.
► For the 1 p.m. ceremony, report no later than 12:30 p.m.
► For the 5 p.m. ceremony, report no later than 4:30 p.m.
PLEASE sign in for EACH ceremony in which you march. After signing in, proceed to your place in the lineup, indicated by a chair with your name on it. Put on your academic garb and leave any belongings on the chair or hang jackets, etc. on the coat racks provided. The faculty marshal will provide marching instructions, and the processional will leave the robing room 10 minutes before the ceremony is to begin. A program will be on your chair in the Sports Arena where the ceremony takes place.
When you return from either the 9 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. ceremony, the new lineup for the next ceremony will be in place in Ice Arena upper lobby. Therefore, if you are marching again, you may have a new place in the lineup. EVERYONE, please sign in again at the registration table so staff know you are accounted for.
Light hospitality will be available throughout the day for your convenience.
